What a great day for a trip to Occoquan, Virginia! I went for the Opening Reception of "Nothing but Trees" featuring the Digital Photography of my favorite husband/wife team of photographers Jane & David Ernst, and Hammered Copper by Anne Jordan (I own several of her pieces) at the Artists Undertaking Gallery. The featured pieces are beautiful (of course I love leaves and trees)! They will be featured all month long, so it's worth a trip to go to the Gallery. http://www.theartistsundertaking.com/ . While in Occoquan, I stopped in at Salt and Pepper Bookstore http://www.saltandpepperbooks.com/ and spoke to Christine, the cheerful owner. She will now carry my flour sack cloth towels featuring my sketch/book drawings on old Cookbook Pages! She's got a really great store with "a Book for every Cook". So add Salt and Pepper to your list of places to visit in historic Occoquan!
